Registration for 2006 Saratoga Little League Season

We are happy to announce the start of another exciting year of Saratoga Little League. This year we have an all new registration procedure described on this page. Please read this page carefully (print if necessary) . Detailed Registration package can be downloaded for review. Returning with no questions - simply click on the links below to go to online registration. Don't forget the volunteer registration as well.

Many parents (league members) indicated that the registration process in the past was less than enjoyable with long lines, many different forms and requirements. This year the league has worked hard to streamline the process by putting registration online. There is no walk in registration, you must fill out the forms and register online. Children ages 5-12 (as of 4/30/06) are eligible. You will still need to come sign up for volunteer positions and bring proof of age and residency. Registration will consist of 3 requirements; Online Player Registration (including medical and participation waivers) and payment via credit card, Online Mandatory Volunteer Registration (including necessary legal waivers) or opt out payment and lastly, an in-person sign up confirmation. The goal is to automate the process online for registration and payment and make the in-person confirmation process as simple, efficient and stress free as possible. No more forms with little boxes – everything is on the web. You can register online from home, work or any place that you can get online. All details below. There is no scheduled walk-in registration. Please email the registrar if there is some reason you cannot register online. Late registration will cost more and is often made up of wait lists.

Verify

That you live within the League Boundaries (unchanged from last year). A map and information can be found here. If there is any question concerning eligibility or in what Division your child(ren), should register/try out for, especially for families new to the league, please contact the Player Agent via email. For returning players you may wish to consult your manager/coach from last year.

 

STEPS FOR REGISTRATION - All 3 Steps are Mandatory

  1. Register and Pay ONLINE for all Participant Registrations
  2. Mandatory family volunteer registration ONLINE or buy out donation.
  3. In Person Sign Up Confirmation. (Required after Online Registration)
    • Where and When :
      • You will be contacted in person by a board member
    • What to Provide:
      • Birth Certificate of each player
      • Proof of Residency: A recent utility bill, car registration.
      • A copy of Driver's license of Volunteer (both parents if possible)
        • Please also bring an original for verification.
    • What to do:
      • Verify Residency within League Boundaries - mandatory
      • Volunteer Job sign-up and ID verification/copy - mandatory
      • Try out sign up - mandatory
      • Fundraiser Information - Sponsorship banners and custom engraved bricks
      • Meet with Board Members and other league volunteers to learn about Saratoga Little League.

About Volunteer Job Sign Up -New this year, No coach, manager or board member can assign or delegate a volunteer job unless the parent or guardian has signed up through the registration process or with the Volunteer Coordinator. Only approval by the Volunteer Coordinator will be accepted. When you register your player you will be agreeing to these terms and those of our volunteer requirement.

T-ball and Mini-ball will except late registration with no extra fee as best as possible.

REFUND POLICY:

In the event a player elects to withdraw from the program, refunds will be provided as follows:

Refund(s) for player withdrawal due to unforeseen circumstances (injury, moving, etc.) will be considered by the Board of Directors on an individual basis.
All refunds will occur by the end of the 2006 season. Please request a refund in writing.
