The teams have been formed and we are excited about this year for our boys and girls. Mini-ball is a great opportunity to meet new friends, play as a team, and learn the basics of baseball.
We believe that the kids are here to have fun and to enjoy friends. The outcome of the game is truly secondary to most kids in Mini-ball, please try to remember this in the stands while watching the games unfold. Celebrate the good plays, encourage the effort, but most of all support your youngsters. Good luck to all and have a great season!

- Description
- Mini-ball is an introductory division for children 6 years old or in first grade. Mini-Ball is NOT intended to be competitive but fun. Game scores and individual team standings are not recorded. There is one practice during the week and one game during the weekend. Players will be exposed to the basics of baseball including hitting, catching, throwing and base running. Coaches will pitch to their own players, at three strikes the ball will be placed on T to continue play (maximum 3 pitches including foul balls). There are no practices and teams play 1 1/2 hour games twice a week. Participation trophies are given to all players at the end of the season.

- Mini-Ball play is goverened by the rules established by Little League Baseball as well as the Local Saratoga Little League Rules.
