The 2011 "All Star" tournaments are an opportunity for each league to put together a team for each age group, and play against each other. Several rounds of competition ultimately lead to the World Series held in Williamsport.
The first round is the District level. At this level, each of the leagues within a district (we are District 12) play against each other. Typically there is a series of games in a pool play format, with the top teams of each pool playing each other in single elimination games to determine a winner. The winner moves on to Sectionals. (Followed by Divisional, Regionals, and finally the World Series!)
